The journal is bound by hand in Stamford, England, from English bridle leather, vegetable tanned and finished with a hand applied wax. The wax protects the hide and develops a natural wax bloom on the surface. It buffs out with use, building a patina particular to each journal. Two internal pockets hold loose paper notes. A thick cotton elastic band holds it closed.
The perfumed paper kit is housed in a tin that protects the scented paper inside. The kit holds two notebooks bound by hand in Stamford, England, and four cards made in Norfolk, England, from GF Smith and Gmund Kraft stocks. Every paper element is scented and cured after production in my atelier in Greenwich, London.

Keep unused perfumed papers in the tin between uses. The scent releases gradually over time, and the closed tin slows this.
